October Snow?!
The other day it was snowing! This is a rare occurence for this time of year in Massachusetts. It was at first raining and then it turned to snow, snowflakes that looked like cotton balls! Luckily, nothing stuck to the ground though because of the wetness from the rain.
Curiousity - (She looks as confused as I was to see snow in October!)
Then yesterday it was 65 degrees and sunny!

October -
So I know this picture looks like it has nothing to do with Fall, but for some reason I can't help but think of the seasons changing when I look at this photo...maybe its just because my apartment is so cold! (I do prefer cold over hot!)
So, to make this more fun, Can You Guess What This Is?
Fall in New England is one of my favorite times...more pictures to come very soon:)

Around the Barn
Last week I visited one of my best friends who lives in St. Augustine, Forida. It is such a beautiful town, I really enjoyed my time there. Here are some pictures from the barn where she keeps her horse and also cares for another horse.

Orzo Pasta Salad
For those end of summer BBQ's or year-round house parties -
Cook 1 box Orzo Pasta, drain and let it cool off. Once cooled, add in:
1 can red kidney beans
1 can small black olives
1 red onion (chopped)
Carrots and Celery (chopped)
Cheese, chopped in small squares ( I used Sharp Cheddar but you can add any kind you like)
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1-2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
Mix well! Other ingredients you may wish to add: pepperoni, artichokes, green pepper, tomatoes
*Just a tip - add a bit of salad dressing before serving (not more than a couple tablespoons. Italian, Greek or a Vinegarette work well)

~Memorial Day 2009~
Yesterday on Memorial Day I went to Marblehead, MA which is a quaint little town, North of Boston, and on the Coast. They have nice looking houses, cute shopping boutiques and some seafood restaurants. The weather was absolutely perfect!

Boating Angles -
My parents and I discovered this gorgeous lake where you can go fishing, boating, camping, etc. While my parents took a boat out to do some fishing, I took some photos -

Great Weather Weekend
This weekend I visited my younger sister at her University located in Amherst, MA. The weather was so great, 91 degrees and sunny! It was a bit on the "too hot" side but I seriously cannot complain after having such a long winter. It was nice to see my sister; we spent a lot of time being outside on the campus.

Easter Sunday
I know it has been too long since I have last posted. I hope everyone is enjoying their Easter Sunday:-)
Favorite kind of car in my favorite kind of scene -
Back roads around Charlestown
Although most places besides coffee shops were closed today; it was nice to walk around and see the signs of Spring! (Yes, it is still cold here!)
Wispy Fence-
Which do you think looks better? In color or in black and white? I couldn't decide.
Tree trunks from this perspective really are so much better:)
